2. November 7th, 2016: New Orleans Pelicans vs Golden State Warriors

Stephen Curry was in the midst of the worst shooting stretch of his career. After shooting a poor 2-6 versus the Oklahoma City Thunder, Curry followed up that game by going 0-10 from the 3-point line versus the Lakers. This marked the first time in his career that he had missed 10 straight 3-point attempts.

So, how did Curry respond to this terrible shooting stretch? Well, he broke the NBA’s single-game record for 3-pointers. In a game versus the Orleans Pelicans, Curry knocked down a career-high 13 3-pointers. He shot 13-17 from the line and finished with 46 points in total.

Steph had been on the verge of breaking this record many times. Before this game, the record was 12 3-pointers and was shared between three different players. These players being Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry and Donyell Marshall.

In total, Curry already had three games in which he made 11 3-pointers or more. Seeing as how he was in the midst of becoming the greatest shooter of all-time, many felt as if it was only a matter of time before he broke this record. When he finally did it, it was just as memorable as we all expected it to be.
