Kevin Durant

27 points, eight rebounds and six assists is what the Slim Reaper did in the Dubs opening night victory. He’s been a vital part of the Warriors last two championship teams and looks to continue filling up his hand with rings.

While this might be Durant’s last season in the Bay, the destiny of this team partially rests in his hands. He’s one of the two main leaders of this team and will need to excel in the postseason for them to continue.

Durant will make or break the season for Golden State, and most are pretty certain he’ll make the season great. Over the last two seasons, Durant has averaged over 25 points per game while increasing his assists per game well over his career average.

While his usage rate has generally dipped in Golden State, he’s still clearly one of the league’s most involved players. If Durant shoots well, it really doesn’t matter how the team play, they’ll more than likely win.

Continually improving, Durant’s future is in his own hands, and for this season, it looks as though he’s destined to be the guy to help accomplish the three, thereby making the Dubs season.
