Jayson Tatum/Joel Embiid/ Victor Oladipo/Kyrie Irving/Kawhi Leonard

Somewhat a joke, if the Warriors make it to the Finals, they’ll be taking on either the Raptors, Sixers or Celtics. For those teams, their best player could be the culprit that absolutely breaks the Warriors season and ultimately puts an end to the KD in Golden State era.

Most sports gambling sites have the Dubs facing the Celtics in the NBA Finals. And, after the C’s double-figure victory last night, that claim seems to be even more likely. The Raptors and even the Pacers will also vie for that spot on the national spotlight.

Only one of these players will get the chance to compete against the Dubs. This could be the moment that Jayson Tatum steps from stardom into superstardom or it might be the moment Kawhi Leonard finally sends the message that’s healthy and back.

Ultimately, the King of the East almost certainly won’t be a runaway, so it’s difficult to choose a single one of these players as the potential kryptonite for Golden State. If I had to put money on it, I think Kawhi Leonard’s return and dominance isn’t too far-fetched.

However, all five of these players and even a few more will be able to showcase their talents on the NBA’s highest platform. Before that though, let’s get through the regular season injury-free.
