Who will go off?

This season, the Warriors have been a two-headed monster. The Dubs have been led by Steph Curry and Kevin Durant. They’ve been absolutely unstoppable with one, or both, of them going off almost every single game.

That said, whose turn will it be against New York?

Surprisingly, the Knicks have the league’s 11th best defensive rating. And, they’ll have two lengthy, athlete guards to throw at Curry, albeit no one can really stop the 6-foot-3 sniper. As for against Durant, they should line up Tim Hardaway Jr.

Durant’s had one poor game, recording just 20 points against the Nuggets. They stuck Torrey Craig on him, having Craig harass Durant for most of the night. It worked, but as we’ve seen, Durant is absolutely unguardable, so there’s not a surefire way to slow him down.

For Curry, thought five games, he’s scored under thirty just once, and in that game, he notched 29 points. Coming off a 51-point performance, it could be Curry who just abuses the Knicks until Kerr says enough.

Regardless of who goes off, this should be an easy victory for the reigning champs.
