The Golden State Warriors only area of weakness is bench scoring. That said, here are five players who could help solve that issue.

After a 7-1 start, the Golden State Warriors have yet again showcased why they’re the NBA’s best team. However, even the NBA’s best have flaws, and while the roster is nearly perfectly constructed, there still one glaring hole that the Dubs could fill.

Their major hole has to do with the lack of production from their second unit.

The other problem that hurts them when attempting to bring any new faces in is the cap space available or the lack thereof. Being conscious of that, we selected five players that the Warriors could trade for to help improve their bench.

Many might not think their lacking second unit scoring isn’t an issue. But, I’d argue differently. Having the NBA’s worst scoring second unit, the Dubs need to keep Kevin Durant and especially Stephen Curry free from injury which they can’t do while forcing them to play 35 minutes a night.

You can do protect the stars by reducing their minutes, which can only be done by enhancing their second unit. The second unit often plays with one of the two superstars. Imagine being able to keep both Durant and Curry’s minutes consistently under 33.

Here are five players that could help with that.
