Mike Scott

Through six games with the LA Clippers, things don’t seem to be trending in the right direction for Mike Scott although he’s been shooting very well. Getting just over 11 minutes per game, the veteran has been shooting 60% from the field and 67% from deep.

Although he’s averaging just 3.7 points per game, almost a third less than his stint with Washington last season, he could see an uptick in minutes as he continues to produce. In those six games, Scott has recorded a +49 net rating, a factor that won’t go unnoticed for too long.

At 30-years-old, Scott, if things don’t go as planned in LA, might be on the trading block. While it’s still early season, the Clippers, who have actually got off to a hot 4-2 start, might start to play their younger core.

If Scott continues not to see time or the Clippers decide to give up on the season, expect Scott to be on the block, and while the Dubs might not target him, Scott would be a terrific addition to a depleted second unit.

Next. 5 free agents the Warriors can still sign. dark

While unlikely that any trade is made, it’d be nice to see any of these players on the Warriors ultra-talented roster.
