A. . SF. Golden State Warriors. KEVIN DURANT

While playing slightly in the shadow of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant has been no joke this season. Putting up a dominant 27.8 points and 7.2 rebounds a game, KD is a force to be reckoned with.

Durant has been phenomenal all season. So far, he is shooting a career-best 55.9 percent from the field and is torching teams. He has been the closer in most of their games, delivering the finishing blow to his opponents time and time again.

KD’s most notable game was his matchup with the New York Knicks. In this showdown, Durant scored 25 points in the fourth quarter and 41 overall to lead the Dubs to victory.

The only knock on Durant through the first nine games is that his defense has been slightly disappointing. Many believed he could enter the season with the ability to be a truly elite defender. However, he has seemingly regressed from the way he played last season.

Despite this, KD has still been solid on defense and is better than ever on offense. He deserves nothing less than an A grade.
