5. DeMarcus Cousins

Of course, DeMarcus Cousins has yet to play even a single minute for the Golden State Warriors. Cousins is currently still recovering from an Achilles injury he suffered last season. There is no timetable for his return, but it is never too early to speculate what type of impact Boogie will have with this team.

For starters, Cousins presence in the paint will be something unique to this Warriors team. Through their championship runs, they have never had a center nearly as dominant as Boogie. The closest they came to this was Andrew Bogut, who was a solid defender but wasn’t nearly as skilled on both ends of the floor as Cousins.

Therefore, DeMarcus should be capable of completely changing the way opponents attack the Warriors. The center position will no longer be a weak link. In fact, in some games, Cousins might be the biggest threat on the court.

If Cousins is healthy, he has the ability to take the Warriors from champion favorite to unbeatable powerhouse. His offensive repertoire fits perfectly with the Dubs current system. He can eat teams alive in the paint and also expand the floor by knocking down 3-pointers. Cousins will truly be a monster with the Warriors.
