3. Draymond Green

In many ways, Draymond Green is the jack-of-all-trades for the Golden State Warriors.  He will guard the opposing teams best perimeter player and post player all in the same possession. He can grab the rebound and start the break or finish a play with a 3-pointer. Green is capable of doing it all on the court.

Currently, Green is averaging 7.9 assists per game, which places him sixth in the league for assists. Draymond’s playmaking and court vision is something that creates so many opportunities for the Warriors. Having a player at his size that can create plays for the stars around him is extremely important.

There is no way we could talk about Green’s impact without mentioning his defense. There is a reason he is a four-time member of the All-Defensive team and a former Defensive Player of the Year.

Draymond has made it clear that he is hunting for another Defensive Player of the Year award. He has expressed his anger for being left off the All-Defensive first team last year and is on a mission to prove himself again.
