After winning back to back championships, the Golden State Warriors are in pursuit of another one this year. The road to a three-peat is never easy and the Dubs will experience their fair share of adversity through this journey.
In recent years, the Warriors haven’t struggled too much in the playoffs. They won the 2016-17 NBA championship with an overall playoff record of 16-1. The next season was a bit more difficult, a game seven in Houston nearly ended their season. However, the Warriors prevailed and won their second straight title, finishing with a 16-4 postseason record.
This season, the same familiar opponents as well as a few new up and coming teams. Their path to a coveted fourth championship in five seasons will be filled with challenges. Today, we count down the five biggest threats to the throne so far.
