5. Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz are one of the most exciting young teams in the league. Led by second-year superstar in the making, Donovan Mitchell, the Jazz are going to be a scary team to face in the playoffs. Mitchell is hungry for accolades and has already shown that he fears no opponent.

Last season, Mitchell averaged 28.5 points and 7.2 rebounds a game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder. Donovan put on a stunning performance in the elimination Game 6, putting up 38 points as the Jazz advanced to the second round.

While Mitchell is certainly a promising young player, the Jazz have so much more to offer than just him. Holding down the paint is the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Rudy Gobert. Gobert averaged 2.4 blocks per game last season while the Jazz became an elite defensive team.

Surrounding Gobert and Mitchell are a slew of talented role players. Joe Ingles is a deadly sharpshooter while Jae Crowder has the ability to be a swiss army knife on both offense and defense.

The Jazz may not be ready to topple the Golden State Warriors just yet, but if these two teams end up facing each other in the playoffs, expect a gritty battle to take place.
