Stephen Curry began the year for the Golden State Warriors with an unbelievable first nine-games. Now, he has hit a brief slump.

This season has already been one for the history books. Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors kicked off their 2018-19 campaign with a bang and were moving at an unprecedented pace.

The Dubs hit the ground rolling this year, rattling off eight straight wins on the way to a 10-2 record. Curry led the way for the Warriors, averaging 29.5 points and 6.1 assists per game.

Steph wasted no time going to work. In his season debut, Curry put up 32 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds as the Warriors got the win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. This performance was then followed up with back to back 30+ point games from Curry.

Then, in the fifth game of the season, the two-time MVP exploded for 51 points. Steph shot 11-of-16 from the 3-point line and a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line. The Warriors won the game easily and Curry played a total of just 31 minutes.

To continue his streak of dominance, Curry put up 35 points versus the Brooklyn Nets and 37 against the New Orleans Pelicans. For the first nine games of the seasons, Steph had hit at least five 3-pointers in every game except for one.

By the end of October, Curry set the record for the most 3-pointers through the first nine games of a season. He was knocking down an average of 6.1 3-pointers a game and shooting an absurd 52.9 percent from beyond the arc. As a whole, he was putting up a career-high 33.0 points a night to start off the year.
