While Green and Durant both lost their temper following Green’s selfish play to end the game, the two have been in the league long enough to understand the business. They’ll be able to mend their relationship because they’ve both likely been in a similar scenario.
Also with several other veteran studs on the team, players like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, who both have large roles on the team, understand the need for a team that has a tight bond. That’s how the Dubs were able to win 73 games in 2015.
Even their most recent superstar addition, Kevin Durant, has already totaled over 100 games for the Dubs. For each of the Dubs four stars, they all have over half a decade of experience under their belt.
Understanding the game and the need for cohesiveness is necessary for a team to grow. The Timberwolves and Jimmy Butler clearly didn’t understand, but for the Warriors, trading isn’t an option. They’ll use their experience and figure this out.
