3 reasons not to worry about the Warriors current mayhem

They typically play without an ego

This one is huge for the Golden State Warriors repairing any relationships. Curry, Thompson, Durant and Green all have played, to this point, with an unselfish, win-first mentality, and while it’s hard to prove, it can be shown through their assist totals.

The Dubs are the No. 1 team in assists per game in the entire NBA.

The Warriors are the only team that have three players averaging above six assists per game. With both Curry and Durant over six and Green over seven, the Dubs have been passing with ease this season and it’s shown in their 11-3 record.

Playing without an ego starts with Kevin Durant.

The four-time scoring champion can score at will, yet this season, he’s proven to be more than a scorer. Averaging a career-high in assists per game, Durant’s game has a major impact on the entire team, so him continuing to play unselfishly is one of the only ways the Dubs will quietly get through this mayhem.

Ultimately, the Dubs ego should help calm down any rift within the organization.
