As Stephen Curry has been out of the lineup nursing a groin injury, the Golden State Warriors have been in mayhem, losing yet another game, most recently to the Dallas Mavericks.

Over the last few days, it’s certainly cooled down, but the Golden State Warriors have had quite the dramatic last few weeks.

This drama started with a late-game possession against the Los Angeles Clippers, a possession which may’ve cost the Dubs the ballgame. Draymond’s turnover in the final possession of regular caused a yelling match between Green and Durant that boiled over to the locker room.

Until now, the Dubs leader, Stephen Curry, remained quiet about the scenario.

When asked about how the incident will impact the Dubs, Curry responded without much hesitation and with confidence. According to the New York Post, Curry actually praises the way the two handled the situation.

"“I think the way we’ve handled it as a team, the way Draymond’s handled it, the way KD’s handled it, it’s been nothing but professionalism,” Curry said… “They have a lot of equity built in their relationship,” Curry said. “They’ve won championships together. They’ve brought out the best in each other. Obviously, I don’t think they’ve had an incident to this level, but you don’t have the experiences that you’ve had and go through the journey that we’ve been on and let it be derailed by something like that.”"

Coming from the team’s leader, this is a positive. The media isn’t with these players at all times of the day, but Curry, if anyone, knows the heartbeat of the team and hopefully wouldn’t lie about the direction and relations being built.

He also mentioned how an incident in November won’t alter the Dubs chemistry in six months. That quote seems especially true, and as the season continues, fans and media should remember just how long of a haul it is.

Now 12-4, the Dubs still have a whopping 66 games to play until the start of the postseason, and if you think the two stars will stay in a petty war, you’d be wrong. When Curry comes back and Draymond gets to full strength, this team will be as lethal as ever.

On pace to be one of the best offensive teams of all-time, the Dubs need to get on a win streak to put this all behind them, and it seems Curry’s confident they’ll be alright.
