Kevin Durant can become a free agent this upcoming offseason, and after the Warriors recent altercation, we’re breaking down where he may head.

Over the last few weeks, the Golden State Warriors have uncharacteristically been in mayhem. They’ve lost three straight and four of their last five. It all started with a rebound and ensuing turnover by Draymond Green, who pushed the ball when an animated Kevin Durant called for it.

Following that game, the Warriors suspended Green for his heated emotions and yelling towards the former MVP Durant. The Dubs won the game which Green was suspended, beating the Hawks by seven. Since then, Green and Curry have both been on the sideline and the Dubs have suffered.

While there’s not too much real concern about the Dubs dominance, the chemistry that was shattered is more of an issue. Will they continue to play selflessly and for each other after the recent petty wars?

Well, even if they do, Durant, for an array of reasons, could still leave this offseason. He won’t get the max contract he might crave and could easily continue his NBA dominance elsewhere. After all, the Dubs are clearly more concerned about retaining Klay Thompson for the long term.

That said, where will the four-time scoring champion and former MVP take off to? Here are our early season power rankings for who might sign KD this upcoming summer.
