Kelly Oubre Jr.

While the Washington Wizards have been playing decently well as of late, they’re been an overall mess this season. With John Wall screaming profanities at his coach and the entire organization seemingly up for trade, the Warriors could slide in and snag Kelly Oubre Jr.

Oubre Jr. is quietly having his best season as a professional. He’s averaging 12.1 points per game, the highest of his four-year career. Oubre, under the right leadership, could be a much better player than he currently is.

For Golden State, there’s not too much of a need to hold onto Bell, Looney and Damian Jones.

Along with the nearing return of DeMarcus Cousins, not all four non-shooters will get time, and Bell will suffer. Let him go to a place where he can use the championship-pedigree the Dubs taught him to become a leader in the locker room.

The Dubs likely wouldn’t give up more than what’s listed. They shouldn’t hold too much value in their 2019 first, especially since it’ll likely be the last pick in the first round.

Tack on Oubre to a struggling second unit, and it could give it a quick jump start with his versatile playmaking.
