Washington Wizards Round 2

Round two of the Wizards-Warriors hypothetical trades definitely gives the edge to the Wizards, who wouldn’t give up either superstar in the deal. They would, however, be taking the same risk as far as draft picks go and give away a promising Otto Porter Jr.

Porter Jr., after signing his massive contract, hasn’t performed like Washington would’ve hoped. He’s regressed to just 12.0 points per game and is shooting under 40% from deep for the first time in three seasons. A new scene could help him spark his career again.

We know what Durant would bring to the table, and in this scenario, he’d join Beal and Wall on a Washington team that could take the East by storm. They’d be excellent with Durant as their late-game closer.

The picks might not be as ideal as if the Warriors would trade Durant in the deal with Brooklyn, but they’re two first-round picks which, if Durant left, would certainly have lottery potential. While Golden State would most likely say no, this would still, on paper, be an interesting offer.

Next. Warriors should eye potential Trevor Ariza buyout. dark

Let’s be real. The Golden State Warriors most likely won’t trade Kevin Durant. BUT, if they did, which of these trade would you take if you’re Golden State?
