The Golden State Warriors will have wishes for every player this Christmas. Here is what they should be hoping for with Stephen Curry.

Stephen Curry has been the leader of the Golden State Warriors since the 2012-13 NBA season. He has led them to four NBA Finals appearances and three championships. Curry has become a five-time All-Star and two time MVP with the Dubs. So, what else could Steph be looking for?

Well, there is always room to improve. So far this season, Stephen Curry has been having one of his best individual seasons. He is averaging 29.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists. His shooting splits are beyond impressive, shooting 51.6 percent from the field and 49 percent from the 3-point line.

Steph is hitting an average of 5.1 3-pointers a game, which ties his career-high and the NBA record set back in the 2015-16 season. His shooting has been unstoppable this year, knocking down the fourth most 3-pointers in the league despite missing 11 games.

Despite his phenomenal individual performances, his team has been struggling. The Warriors have a 16-9 record and are in fourth place in the Western Conference. This is the worst start to a season that the franchise has had since the 2013-14 season.

A large reason behind the Warriors struggles has been the fact that Curry has been injured. It’s impossible for him to have an impact on the game when he can’t get on the court. Therefore, perhaps Curry’s biggest goal this season should be to remain healthy. His team will need him if they wish to win it all this year, so Curry will need to make sure he is available to play.

Outside of health, Steph only needs to focus on keeping the Warriors in sync. He is the leader of this team and it is his responsibility to keep the team as a cohesive group. No outside factors or drama can come between the Dubs during their pursuit of a third straight championship.

it will be Steph’s job to keep the ship on track. If he manages to do all of these things, it will be another memorable season for the Warriors.
