Nobody quite knows who leads the Golden State Warriors. Is it Steve Kerr, Draymond Green, Kevin Durant or Stephen Curry?

The answer: Stephen Curry. David West says the Golden State Warriors go as Steph directs. However, per NBC Sports, he also details how the team is led by the All-Star committee.

"“These guys lead by committee,” David West explained on 95.7 The Game."

Although we knew they all led as one unit, we didn’t know who was the true leader of that committee.

"“Steph is still the head honcho in terms of the direction of the group, and the group goes as he goes,” the retired two-time NBA champion said. “And he knows to manage that group in that locker room.“People don’t realize, when he gets hurt and he’s not in the lineup, it changes everything. When he’s in the lineup and he’s in the locker room healthy, he knows how to manage. Now he’s not somebody that’s gonna be demonstrative and be blowing up and cussing people out.More from Blue Man Hoop3x champion may come to regret forgoing Golden State Warriors reunionGolden State Warriors: History shows USA may need Stephen Curry for more than the Olympics7 players Golden State Warriors might replace Klay Thompson with by the trade deadlineGolden State Warriors villain pours on more pain to end USA’s World CupGolden State Warriors: Stephen Curry continues philanthropic efforts off the court"

Steph has been the face of the Golden State Warriors for years. He was drafted with the seventh pick of the 2011 NBA Draft and has since erupted as one of the most entertaining basketball players on the face of the planet.

His true stardom kicked off after his ridiculous unanimous MVP season in 2015. Although they were also on the discouraging end of historical Finals series, Curry’s season will go in history as one of the best by any player of any generation.

This season, the Dubs reached an all-time low during Curry’s absence. They lost four straight, their longest losing streak in over half a decade, and five of six during an awful stretch in late November. All which Curry was nursing a groin injury, the Dubs first-hand felt the impact of the two-time MVP.

The leadership that Curry brings to the team is paramount for their success. Curry has had help from one of the league’s all-time great shooters in Klay Thompson, but the Dubs prolonged dominance has started and will end with Stephen Curry.

Curry has averaged 29.3 points with 5.2 threes, 5.7 assists, and 5.2 rebounds per game. Until his ten-game absence, Curry was on pace to break his own league record for threes in a season.
