Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins have been engaging in some heated games of 1 on 1 during practice. This time, Cousins got the last laugh.

DeMarcus Cousins and Kevin Durant are two extremely competitive superstars. They pride themselves on their individual ability and truly think they are the best. As a result, the Golden State Warriors practice facility has turned into an all-out war zone.

Cousins and Durant have been dueling in some intense sessions of 1 on 1. KD has held his own in this matchup, but Cousins’ sheer size proved to be deadly in the post.

During their most recent game, Boogie drove down the middle of the lane and pump faked. Durant bit on the fake and jumped. As KD was in the air, Cousins gathered his energy and crammed a dunk right on top of Durant’s head.

The resulting impact was enough to fling Durant across the baseline. The shockwave from Boogies dunk was enough to garner attention from the entire practice facility. Durant was left with no option other than to lay on the floor and look up at DeMarcus as he taunted the two-time Finals MVP.

While this is obviously all in good fun, it should be noted that Durant and Cousins do have a history of beef. Last season, when the Golden State Warriors were facing off against the New Orleans Pelicans, Cousins and Durant got into it.

With the game winding down, the Dubs were set to win a close game versus the Pelicans. Then, a last-second argument ensued between KD and Cousins, ending with both players being ejected. The shouting escalated at this point, bubbling over into the tunnel of the arena. Cousins was restrained by multiple people as he attempted to chase Durant after the game.

Of course, this beef has been resolved by now. Cousins would never have thought of signing with the Warriors if he still had a problem with Durant. Regardless, Cousins made sure to soak up every second of this poster dunk during practice.
