The Golden State Warriors are set to face off against the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas day. Here, we count down five reasons to watch this game.

The beginning of the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers rivalry is set for Christmas day. Golden State will have their hands full with LeBron James and company as both teams look to make a statement.

The Warriors currently stand in second place in the West and are 3.5 games ahead of the Lakers. These two teams could easily end up seeing each other in the NBA Playoffs. A potential meeting between the Dubs and Lakers could be very interesting.

This first matchup between the two teams should be very telling. Both teams are playing near full strength and will be hungry for a win. With the standings being so close, neither squad will want to accept a loss in this meeting.
