6. Indiana Pacers

The first team on the list is the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers were a surprising breakout team last season. After trading away Paul George for a package of Domantas Sabonis and Victor Oladipo, many assumed that Indiana would be entering a long-term rebuilding stage.

However, nobody expected the emergence of Oladipo as an All-NBA caliber player. Furthermore, Sabonis made huge leaps in his game as well as Myles Turner, who has become an elite shot blocker.

With all of this young talent combined, the Pacers managed to push the Cleveland Cavaliers to seven games in last year’s playoffs. This hard-fought series became a statement of what the Pacers are capable of.

Now, Indiana sits at third place in the Eastern Conference and is just a few pieces away from being real contenders. Trading for a player such as Draymond Green could be exactly what the team needs to push them over the top.

Adding a player with Green’s experience and playmaking ability would turn the Pacers into a deadly offensive team. Green would be the only the second player on the roster with an NBA Finals appearance and he would help give them an advantage over the rest of the inexperienced Eastern Conference.
