3. Los Angeles Lakers

On paper, trading away an All-Star to one of the Golden State Warriors biggest rivals does not seem like a good idea. The Warriors would essentially be helping the opposition grow stronger in their efforts to defeat them.

However, trading Draymond Green to the Los Angeles Lakers could be a win-win situation. The Lakers are looking to compete for an NBA championship as quickly as possible because of the fact that LeBron James won’t be in his prime forever. As a result, the Lakers could be willing to part ways with a few of their young assets.

If the Warriors managed to receive any combination of Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, Ivica Zubac or Lonzo Ball, this would be a win for the Dubs. The Warriors have been struggling with a top-heavy roster recently and adding some extra depth to their team would be extremely beneficial.

Not to mention, adding some talented young players is important for the Warriors as they do not want to fall off the map once their championship run is over. The Dubs want to make sure they are prepared for the future as well as competing in the present.

Meanwhile, the Lakers are acquiring another All-Star to pair alongside James. Draymond would likely be the best defender that James has ever played with. It would be fun to watch these two compete together after years of being rivals.
