Trade No. 1

The Golden State Warriors have young talent that can be traded. That talent just isn’t on an elite Jayson Tatum-like level. But, if you combined Evans III’s potential with Draymond Green and picks, you get a trade that seems as likely as any.

Davis, who is averaging a career-high 28.5 points per game, is at the top of his game. The Pelicans would demand a high return for such a talent, and many teams aren’t very fond of how much they request.

This isn’t a bad deal by any means.

The Pelicans would most likely just as for more though. Green is a solid player. He’s a four-time All-Star and one of the league’s best all-around players. But, Green and a low-first round pick along with two picks that will likely be in the bottom five of the first round most likely won’t cut it.

That’s why it’s so difficult to predict trades for Davis. He’s a top-five player in the NBA, and they demand too much for him. Some team will eventually cave though.
