Ed Davis

While in Portland, Ed Davis seemed to have his name in the mainstream media a bit more. Although in Brooklyn, Davis is producing even better numbers and making an even greater impact on a team that’s struggling to get into the playoff picture.

Davis is scoring 5.6 points per game and is shooting over 60% from the field. His efficiency has been outstanding, but he’s yet to truly find himself at home in Brooklyn, averaging fewer than 18 minutes per game.

Blocking just 0.4 shots per game, adding Davis would be more about enhancing their defensive rebounding and snagging a capable big man. Davis is leading the league in total rebounding percentage. Meaning, when he’s on the court, he’s really getting after it.

While Looney and Bell have both played efficiently this season, Davis would provide a different type of energy. The perfect addition, Davis would excel behind Cousins as he’s been used to a limited role already.

A high-energy big, Davis, who averaged 8.4 rebounds in 17.9 minutes per game, would help the Dubs on the defensive end, an area they’ve struggled in throughout the season.
