The Golden State Warriors have interest in trading for superstar Anthony Davis.

While unlikely that the Golden State Warriors trade for Anthony Davis, ESPN’s Zach Lowe said that the back-to-back champs have interest in the league’s best center.

"The Warriors have been publicly linked to Davis before — and would surely be interested, sources say — but it’s hard to find a realistic path ahead of next season."

Lowe digs in a bit deeper why a trade is unlikely, but the consensus is that the Warriors won’t trade Durant or Curry, Thompson isn’t likely because he’ll become a free agent, and Green won’t gain the interest that Golden State would crave.

Already with 13 losses, the Dubs currently sit third in a deep Western Conference. Third for a team with five legit top-25 talents is not good enough. They’ve been far from elite this season, and most of their weaknesses start on the defensive end.

That’s one reason the Dubs should trade for Davis. His wingspan and instincts make him one of the league’s top defenders. Obviously, a dominant offensive player as well, Davis’ addition would be welcome in the Bay, but at what cost? What is Davis worth?

that said, let’s take a peek at a four-team trade that seems like an all-around win.
