The Santa Cruz Warriors ended 2018 with a bang as they swept the Northern Arizona Suns for the season winning the season series 4-0.

Despite Peter Jok for the Suns scoring twenty-five points on 50% shooting, the Santa Cruz Warriors handed the Suns their tenth loss of the season behind Kendrick Nunn’s twenty-five points and Deyonta Davis’ twenty-one points.

On today’s edition of TimeOut, I am going to reveal four fun facts about the Sea Dubs’s win against the Suns.

Number 1- There were fifteen lead changes in the game.

The competitiveness was there from tip-off as the Warriors attempted to create a gap.

The 8-4 lead the Warriors created was short lived as two made free throws from Evans and a layup from Miles Jr. made it a tied game. After that possession, there will be thirteen lead changes to end the quarter 34-27 in favor of the Warriors.

The Suns attempted a comeback in the second quarter, but the Warriors held their own despite having a brief shooting slump, ending the half 63-57.

The next time the Suns will take the lead is at the 2:52 mark in the third quarter to make the game 75-73, thanks to reverse layup by Palmer. The game will be a back and forth game similarly to the first quarter, however, there will be no lead changes in the fourth quarter as the Sea Dubs sealed the deal.
