No team made a shot until Kendrick Nunn splashed from three-point range off a Marcus Derrickson assist to make the game 84-82 in favor of the Santa Cruz Warriors with eleven minutes left in the game.
The next minute of the game will be filled with three fouls, a turnover, a missed jumper by Antonius Cleveland and a team rebound for the Suns before the game tied up at 84-84.
The Warriors began to develop momentum eventually resulting in a dunk by Kendrick Nunn off a Toscano-Anderson assist. Damian Lee helped the Warriors open the Warriors’ lead grabbing a defensive rebound and making timely shots from all over the floor. Deyonta Davis was making his make mark in this win grabbing rebounds and dunking.
After the Sea Dubs’s Darius Morris made a three-pointer, no shots were made for almost two minutes. Despite a few shooting slumps, the Warriors ensured that the lead was maintained and they didn’t remove their foot off the gas.
