Enes Kanter

One of the most recent names to be tossed around in the trade market is Enes Kanter, the Knicks center. Struggling to find their rhythm, the Knicks are among the East’s worst teams and are on the verge of an all-out tank.

Kanter, who has just over $14 million on his expiring contract, could be an ideal addition for the Golden State Warriors.

Averaging 14.4 points per game, the second highest of his career, Kanter has shown an ability to efficiently score this season. Both his 54% from the field and 35% from downtown showcase his efficiency from the field.

While not an above-average athlete, Kanter’s strength and toughness is where he thrives. A gritty, hard-nosed player, Kanter could be a force in the paint, helping improve the Warriors lacking second unit.

An ideal trade would be to send Andre Iguodala to New York along with some picks for the 6-foot-11 center. Acquiring Kanter would free up at least $14 million this offseason which could then go towards retaining the Warriors five stars.
