4. New York Knicks

The rumors around Kevin Durant joining the New York Knicks have already been swirling around. Multiple reports were released stating that KD had intentions of joining the Knicks this summer and New York has expressed interest in going all-in for a chance at the two-time Finals MVP.

Durant has shown appreciation for New York star, Kristaps Porzingis. Kirstaps is a freak of nature, standing at 7’3″ and having the agility of a guard, Durant sees some of himself in Porzingis. Last season, Porzingis averaged 22.7 points and 6.7 rebounds a game before an ACL injury abruptly ended his season.

The Knicks also have another budding star in Kevin Knox. The rookie is putting up 12.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in 26.6 minutes a game. He has the potential to become a scary player with the ability to overpower any opponent.

Adding Durant would give the Knicks their first real superstar to pair with their bundle of youth. KD would have his work cut out for him with this roster, but winning here is something that guarantees respect. For Durant, regaining some respect might be a big deal.
