Kevin Durant is not only having his best season as a member of the Golden State Warriors but arguably the best of his career.

When the Golden State Warriors signed Kevin Durant three seasons ago, they knew they’d gained another superstar. What they couldn’t have predicted is how great of an all-around basketball player Durant would become.

The Golden State roster compilation has brought out the best in Durant. This season, his third with the Warriors, has been significant for many reasons. For starters, it’s a contract year for Durant, meaning he’ll be signing either a new contract or opting into his existing one this offseason.

It’s also the season which he can claim his spot atop the league. Many still consider LeBron James the league’s best player, but this season, Durant has been just as dominant as the King. His scoring, his passing and his rebounding have all been similar to James.

In the past, Durant hadn’t been the same all-around player that James had been. He wasn’t setting his teammates up but rather just scoring. This season, he’s turned that stereotype about his game around and become an above-average distributor.

Averaging over 28 points, seven rebounds and six assists, Durant is in a category of his own. There isn’t another player in the league putting up stat line similar to Durant’s. His scoring combined with his rebounding and assist totals have put him in superstar territory.

But, how does that compare to the other superstars around the league?
