Green to New Orleans- Part 2

A trade involving Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans is one that just makes the most sense. It’s reported that the Warriors are interested in trading for Davis (isn’t everything), but it won’t happen without an out-of-this-world load in return.

For Golden State, this is the most they’d offer. A four-time All-Star and three first-round picks would have to be enough. At the same time, New Orleans would be playing for the distant future if they take this deal.

While lower than his average over the last four seasons, Green has posted 6.8 assists per game. That type of offense is contagious and on the Pelicans it could help ignite their shooting. Nikola Mirotic, E’Twuan Moore and Jrue Holiday would be dangerous with a distributor like Green.

Green would be given more on the offensive end and would still be able to thrive on the defensive end. Obviously being traded off the Warriors isn’t ideal for any player, Green should be able to find similar success in New Orleans.

For Golden State, the ultimate solution to any problem is snagging another top-five NBA talent, right? Well, here, they do that and snag a decent shooter in Darius Miller who should be able to help their below-average second unit.
