The Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry is already a top-three shooter of all-time. He’s not even 31-years-old.

Stephen Curry passed Jason Terry on all-time three-pointers made list. He hit this mark after a five-three game against the Chicago Bulls, a game the Warriors won by over 35 points.

Now third, the Warriors’ prodigy has been dominant from behind the arc this season and all throughout his career. His style has changed the game of basketball as we know it, putting a renewed focus on three-point shooting.

Curry could very well be the league’s first player to shooting 50% from deep, 50% from the field and 90% from the free throw line. Once on pace for that this season, Curry’s since regressed from deep, now around 45%.

This season does mark Curry’s second averaging at least five threes per game. Back in his 2015-2016 unanimous MVP season, Curry averaged 5.2 threes per game, setting an NBA-record with 402 made three-pointers that season.

Ultimately, Curry should be able to reign supreme as the No. 1 three-point shooter in history. Curry now sits around 280 threes shy of second place, Reggie Miller, and around 700 threes shy of Ray Allen, the current all-time leader.

Curry has transcended the NBA, and he’s just starting as well.

Only in the primetime spotlight for half a decade, Curry still has another half of a decade of dominance in the league. An underrated defender and distributor, Curry, by nature, is a scorer first but should also be remembered for his numerous other traits as well.

There may never be another Stephen Curry in the NBA. Player’s envy him, and kids wish they could be him. He is great in the pick-and-roll, in isolation and is especially lethal when rolling off a screen into a shot.

When he came into the league, Curry, at 6-foot-3, was thought to be undersized, something many considered an issue. He’s proven every doubter wrong. One of the league’s all-time great point guard, it’ll be interesting to see how Curry goes down once he’s officially the best shooter of all-time.
