While some are obvious, not all the Golden State Warriors’ personnel rank well when stacked up against each other after 42 games.

It’s been 42 games and the Golden State Warriors rank second in a deep Western Conference. Certainly not where this talented group would like it to, the Warriors haven’t received top-tier production from several of their players this season.

If you remember, the Warriors went on a four-game losing streak earlier this season in a stretch where they lost five of six games. This can’t be forgotten, but when at full strength, this team has shown an ability to hang with the NBA’s best.

The back-to-back champs shouldn’t just hang with the best though: they should blow them out. However, in primetime games against Houston, Los Angeles and Toronto, they’ve faltered, losing in all three. The scary part about this season is the lack of primetime wins Golden State has.

They have the personnel. The superstar talent is obvious, but they’ve yet to put it all together. After two seasons with their core four together, will they really need Boogie Cousins to come to save the day?

The Warriors must be better, and through these rankings, it’s obvious who needs to step up.

Boogie will not be given a rank, but keep in mind, he will play his first game on January 18. We also won’t be including Marcus Derrickson or Damion Lee, the Warriors two players under a two-way contract, or Damian Jones who went down with a season-ending injury early in December.
