The Golden State Warriors have now won five-straight games and have reminded us how dominant they are.

For a brief moment, the Golden State Warriors appeared to be vulnerable. A cold stretch of games where the Dubs lost multiple key players to injury resulted in a number of unfortunate losses. Now, it seems as if this run has been forgotten as the team is on a roll.

The Warriors are on fire. They have won their last five games by an average margin of 20.8 points. Included in this stretch are two 30-point blowouts as well as a 27-point victory over the New York Knicks.

Their most impressive game of the season came last night against the Denver Nuggets. The Warriors traveled into Denver and smoked the Nuggets by 31 points. Golden State shot an absurd 60 percent from the field as they vaulted themselves into first place in the Western Conference.

The Warriors big three have been phenomenal during this stretch. Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant are all putting up big numbers. In the last five games, Thompson is averaging a season-high 28.0 points per game while Curry is scorching hot with an average of 32.6 points a night.

Altogether, the Dubs trio is averaging a combined 86.6 points per game. This mark is only 14 points below the lowest team average in the league. Meaning, Durant, Thompson and Curry are almost scoring enough to beat opposing teams by themselves.

This recent run should be enough to strike fear into any opposing NBA team. But, if this wasn’t enough, just prepare yourself for when DeMarcus Cousins returns on Friday night.
