14. Denver Nuggets

There is a great collection of young talent brewing within the Denver Nuggets organization. They have struck gold on a number of draft picks and are creating a team with scary potential for the future.

While they currently stand at second place in the Western Conference, no one is taking them seriously. A big reason for this may be their inexperience. However, I believe it is because they do not have a player that is capable of torching an opposing team. This is why they would give up almost anything for a shot at Kevin Durant.

In this scenario, the Golden State Warriors would add Will Barton, Mason Plumlee and Michael Porter Jr. to their roster. To top it all off, the Dubs gain a 2021 first round pick as well. This package gives the Warriors an absurd amount of depth, giving them more than enough to fill out their rotation and build for a prosperous future of their own.

On the flip side, the Nuggets gain a player capable of bringing them to the NBA Finals. This is a move that would be risky but could have a huge payoff for the Denver franchise.
