6. Phoenix Suns

It has been a peculiar rebuilding process for the Phoenix Suns. Despite seemingly drafting multiple young stars with great talent, the Suns remain as the only team in the Western Conference not competing for a playoff spot.

Many would assume that the duo of Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton would be enough to at least be somewhat in the playoff picture. Phoenix also has a few other notable young names such as Josh Jackson, Mikal Bridges and Dragan Bender.

It’s difficult to pinpoint what has caused the Suns to be so bad even with what seems like a solid young core. Perhaps trading for a bonafide star like Kevin Durant will help them develop their youth and get over the hump.

In this deal, the Warriors receive Josh Jackson, T.J Warren, Troy Daniels and a first-round pick. Jackson and Warren will continue their growth with Golden State and contribute to a championship contending team. Meanwhile, Daniels 3-point shooting will find the perfect home as his play style fits nicely with the Warriors.
