4. San Antonio Spurs

Legendary head coach, Gregg Popovich, has expressed his uncertainty on if he will be coaching the San Antonio Spurs next season. Well, if the Spurs managed to land Kevin Durant, I think they could also punch their ticket to at least one more season of Popovich running the show.

Durant might not be Pop’s ideal player, but he would absolutely love the chance to coach him. Popovich could help take Durant’s game to an absurd level. Fitting KD in with the rest of the Spurs unit sounds like a championship waiting to happen.

San Antonio would have to give up a package of Rudy Gay, Marco Belinelli, Patty Mills and two draft picks to make this happen. I can’t imagine the Warriors would accept anything less than this.

Gay and Mills are two veteran players with plenty left in the tank to contribute to the Warriors run. As for Belinelli, he would be ecstatic to play for a team that shoots the 3-pointer as much as the Warriors as he is one of the leagues best shooters when he gets hot from deep.
