25. New York Knicks

Rumors have already been swirling that Kevin Durant has intentions to join the New York Knicks. If this speculation becomes true, the Golden State Warriors could potentially work out a sign-and-trade deal.

The Knicks can’t offer up much off of their roster without dismantling their team to a point beyond repair, so trading picks is their best bet. A package of Lance Thomas, Mario Hezonja, Tim Hardaway Jr and two future first round picks might be enough to get the deal done.

The Warriors aren’t adding any superstar in place of Durant, but they do gain a bit of depth. All three of these players are capable of giving solid production. Hardway, in particular, could be a perfect fit as he is a streaky 3-point shooter with a tendency to catch fire from deep.

New York would pair up Durant with Kristaps Porzingis, Kevin Knox and Frank Nitlikina in their attempt to thrust their names into title contentions. Playing under the New York lights is something that Durant would thrive under.
