The Golden State Warriors will be tested in the next few days with multiple tough games on their schedule.

After a strong win versus the Los Angeles Lakers, the Golden State Warriors have now won eight straight games. This streak matches the team’s season high for consecutive wins. However, their schedule is about to get a whole lot tougher.

The Dubs are playing near full strength right now. Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant are being their usual selves. Meanwhile, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have seemingly broken out of their early-season slumps. Especially Thompson, who broke an NBA record by starting off 10-for-10 from the 3-point line versus the Lakers.

Most importantly, DeMarcus Cousins has made his debut. His presence at the center position has helped make the Warriors practically unstoppable.

In the next few days, the Warriors will take on the Washington Wizards, Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers. The Wizards might not put up a fight, but Boston and Indiana will be tough. On top of this, all three of these games will take place on the road for the Warriors.

The Celtics are currently in the middle of their own five-game winning streak, led by Kyrie Irving‘s sensational performances. Over this five-game stretch, Irving has averaged 30.8 points and 11 assists per game on 60.3 percent shooting from the field and 56 percent shooting from the 3-point line.

Taking on Irving will be a challenge. After that, the Dubs will have to travel to Indiana to face Victor Oladipo and Myles Turner. Oladipo is one of the leagues best clutch players while Turner leads the NBA in blocks per game at 2.8 rejected shots a game.

Once the road trip is over, the Dubs will come back home to match up against the Philadelphia 76ers. Philly is fresh off of dominating the Houston Rockets 121-93 and is looking to ride that momentum.

This game is followed up by another meeting with the Lakers and then a showdown with the San Antonio Spurs to close it out. The Lakers may not be a threat unless LeBron James makes his return at some point. However, the Spurs always prove to be a worthy opponent.

This stretch of games will show us if the Warriors are really ready for the playoffs or not. We will learn a lot about this team during this time period.
