Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic are a few players away from competing in the Eastern Conference. Draymond Green could be that player to push them over the hump, and they might as well try to acquire him while Nikola Vucevic is in the midst of a breakout season.

The trade would be for Jarell Martin, who would replace Green’s production, Ross who would add bench depth, and two first-round picks. The picks could become top-five picks if Vucevic and Green both left at the end of their contract.

It’s a huge risk for Orlando, but on the verge of losing out on their star center, they must do something to compete now. With Aaron Gordon and Mo Bamba also on the roster, the Magic should at least be a playoff team if they add Green.

The Warriors would be losing a distributor, but the value of the picks almost equate to Green himself, so they might as well go for it.
