Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings have been actively searching for a player to make their team competitive. They’ve targeted players like Jeremy Lin and several other players on non-contending teams in hopes to make that No. 8 spot in a tough Western Conference.
If Draymond Green were on the market, why not target him? While he’s not actively on the market, the Kings could replenish his production by offering Bjelica and Shumpert. Shumpert is in the last year of his contract and would open up a decent amount of cap space with his expiring contract.
Along with a first-round pick that could be a lottery selection, the Warriors would be securing a future core piece and keeping their team among the best in the league. Not to mention Shumpert is having one of his best seasons as a professional.
If the Kings were going to make a trade, they might as well make a splash deal for a player that’s sercured past this season. They get this season and next to make a run, and with their core, it’d be certainly worth the risk.
