Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are one piece away from contending. While the Warriors would never trade a star to a formidable Western Conference opponent, Green would be a perfect fit on a stout Denver defense.

Bringing in Will Barton and Trey Lyles would increase the Warriors’ cap space along with giving them that backup shooting guard that they crave. Barton is one of the league’s most underrated scoring options.

The Nuggets could then boast a lineup with two lockdown defenders. Gary Harris and Draymond Green would be a dynamic duo on the defensive end, and with Jokic’s offensive skill set, Green might see an uptick in offensive production, being able to swing his passes to open shooters.

There is absolutely no way the Warriors trade Green to an up-and-coming Western Conference team that could eventually dethrone them.
