Stephen Curry has been named a starter in the 2019 NBA All-Star game. Here is a brief summary of the Golden State Warriors superstar point guard’s season so far.

News broke on Thursday night that Stephen Curry was selected as a starter for the 2019 NBA All-Star game. This will be the sixth time Curry has been an All-Star and the fourth time in five years in which he was named a starter.

Curry has more than deserved his spot in the starting lineup. He is currently averaging 29.3 points, 5.6 assists and 5.2 rebounds a game. His overall impact on the team has never been bigger and he is virtually unguardable on the court.

Steph is playing at a career-high level. With an average of 5.3 3-pointers a game, he is threatening his single-season record of 403 total 3-pointers. As of now, Steph has nailed 189 shots from deep and is on pace to hit 364 by the end of the year.

With Curry in the lineup, the Warriors have a 29-8 record and a 5-6 record without him. He has arguably been one of the most valuable players in the entire league. His shooting opens up room for the rest of his All-Star studded team.

However, Curry has been so much more than a shooter. A great example of this was his last game versus the Washington Wizards. Curry finished with 38 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists despite shooting only 2-for-8 from beyond the arc.

As the season continues, Curry will keep proving his worth as the best point guard in the league. His unique talent is something that everyone should appreciate while they still can. This season, Curry has become more of a leader than ever before, juggling countless challenges and shrugging them off effortlessly.

Watching Steph show off his talent in the All-Star game once again will be a great sight to see.
