No. 1

If the Warriors intend to swing for the fences and acquire Anthony Davis, it would require some significant sacrifices.

Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are homegrown All-Stars who contributed to three NBA Championships. The Warriors took a chance on Shaun Livingston and he has rewarded the team with steady play throughout his tenure.

Unfortunately, Thompson and Green’s contract uncertainties make them the ideal trade chips for Anthony Davis. Livingston would need to be included to make the salaries match for a potential deal.

The Warriors would receive some depth on the wings in this trade with Solomon Hill and E’Twaun Moore. They aren’t All-Stars, but they would help to help to fill in the gaps in the rotation.

In this trade, the Warriors would give up a lot, but that is what it takes to get a player of Davis’ caliber.
