6. Kosta Koufos

The 7-foot tall true center, Kosta Koufos, hasn’t been part of a notable NBA team in quite some years. The last time Koufos performed in the playoffs was the 2014-15 season when he played just 11.5 minutes per game for the Memphis Grizzlies.

Obviously, Koufos wouldn’t have any profound impacts on the team. His skill set is very limited as a slow-footed, clunky center. He is one of the only players left in the league that has failed to successfully develop a 3-point jump shot, making it tough for him to crack the rotation for any team.

Despite all of this, Koufos might turn out to be a smart signing for the Golden State Warriors. His sheer size gives him an advantage on the glass, averaging 4.6 rebounds a game in an average of just 12.6 minutes of playing time this season.

Having a player like Koufos would simply be safety insurance for the Warriors. Injuries can quickly derail any team. Therefore, it can’t hurt to add a little more depth to their center position.
