SF, Jabari Parker

Another player potentially on the move is Jabari Parker. Parker, like many of the other players, would likely be dealt for Iguodala. It’s nothing against Iguodala, but the addition of an expiring contract would immensely help the Dubs keep their four stars together.

Parker isn’t necessarily on an expiring contract, but he does have a team option on the 2019-2020 season. That option is $20 million which will be declined by basically any NBA team. His production the last few seasons just hasn’t equaled that of most players making eight figures.

However, he has produced enough to be able to contribute on most any NBA team. He’s averaging 14.3 points per game, shooting over 47% from the field. Per 36 minutes, Parker’s average nears 20 points per game.

The 6-foot-8 small forward is a proven scorer. He can score in an array of ways and has even shown an ability to connect from downtown. As a defender and distributor, Parker leaves quite a bit to be desired.

If the Dubs want bench production, Parker is their guy. Just don’t expect him to be a lockdown defender.
