SF, Kent Bazemore

On one of the league’s worst teams, Kent Bazemore is arguably having his best professional season. Averaging a career-high 13.5 points per game, Bazemore has been a consistent threat for the Atlanta Hawks.

However, for Golden State, they’d have to be willing to accept his contract. Bazemore has a player option for over $19 million next season. While a solid player, Bazemore is unlikely to find a better contract on the market.

29, Bazemore could help supplement a potential Kevin Durant exodus. He’d come in and be like the 2015 Harrison Barnes. Barnes was the team’s fourth option and, when left open, was a solid threat offensively. That’s exactly what Kent Bazemore would give the Warriors.

Like most the other targets, Bazemore would cost the Dubs at least Andre Iguodala and likely another player as well. Overall, the long, athletic 29-year-old would give the Warriors a playmaking option off the bench this season and a consistent offensive threat next season as well.

An elite defender and above-average three-point threat, Bazemore would be an ideal, low-cost insurance policy if Kevin Durant were to leave.
