Jamal Crawford

Jamal Crawford is about as clutch as they come. He’s proven it time and time again that he just has the special sauce at the end of games. Now 38, Jamal Crawford, who is has been in the league 18 seasons, shouldn’t be wasting his time away on the West’s worst team, the Phoenix Suns.

He could’ve signed with Golden State this offseason but wasn’t offered enough money. If bought out, he’d get his money and then a new contract in Golden State. However, he has the same problem as Carmelo Anthony.

With age comes inefficiency. With inefficiency comes a desire for championship-caliber teams not to want you around. Crawford, who is averaging over six points per game, is shooting under 37% from the field. The Warriors as a team shoot over 10% better than that.

Crawford would still be a welcome addition as he’d fill a gap behind Thompson, but it’d be a real question whether or not he’d be the best addition from a deep buyout market.
